The Platform brings together citizens capable of examining the country’s challenges comprehensively and turning proposed solutions into a guiding compass. This qualified community believes that a form of politics in which everyone would want to participate and place their trust is possible.
We recognize that every outcome we produce will leave a mark on Türkiye’s future; therefore, we move forward resolutely without compromising our principles.
What Do We Believe?
We have come together to embed the left in society.
The Platform invites citizens who are tired of being manipulated by political elites to contribute to the process. Individuals who are willing to become gradually involved and committed to ensuring that a new way of doing politics becomes a determining force within political institutions are coming together.
We believe the problem arises not so much from unorganized crowds, but from the errors in how organized communities understand the world. We must change politics.

We are an independent group of people from academia, intellectual circles, organizations and diverse political movements.
While the Platform focuses on social democracy, it is also open to socialists and democrats. We aim to establish a substantive common ground with everyone who says, “I am not a social democrat, but I believe in what the Platform stands for.”
We believe that social democracy should remain distinct from the “Third Way” conceptualized by Giddens, frequently recall its Marxist roots and be reconceptualized as a powerful field of left-wing intervention in the evolving economic relations of the twenty-first century.
